Atlanta, GA — April 13, 2026 — GZTV officially announces that its latest documentary project has entered post-production. Directed by Justyn Burgest-Graham, the film features fashion designer Armon Rashod and actor Matthew Martinez in a powerful narrative centered on purpose, resilience, and creative transformation.
Inside the Trenches Global Impact Center
At the heart of the film is an immersive, firsthand walkthrough led by Armon Rashod inside the Trenches Global Impact Center. Through this guided experience, Rashod breaks down how the space operates as a dynamic hub for community engagement, creativity, and personal development. Exploring his connection with the space as it was his old Elementary School, that he purchased and currently undergoing renovations.
He provides insight into the intentional design and structure of the center, illustrating how it functions as a living extension of his broader mission: bridging fashion, mentorship, and social impact.
The Story Behind Trenches Global
The documentary offers an in-depth look at the foundation and evolution of Trenches Global, while tracing Rashod’s journey as a designer. Viewers are brought into the pivotal moments that shaped his path.
Creativity Under Constraint
A defining element of the film focuses on Rashod’s creative process during his period of incarceration. Despite significant limitations, he continued to conceptualize and develop designs, demonstrating innovation under restriction.
Rashod speaks candidly about the challenges he faced, the mindset he cultivated, and how that experience reshaped his perspective; ultimately influencing both his artistic direction and the identity of his brand.
