Dr. Courtney Hammonds and Octavius Terry Celebrated as the New Covers for ATL+ Magazine in Atlanta
ATLANTA, GA — ATL+ Magazine celebrated the release of its latest issue with a cover reveal honoring Dr. Courtney Hammonds and Hall of Fame fashion designer Octavius Terry at Embassy Suites by Hilton in Atlantic Station, Downtown Atlanta. The event brought together fashion professionals, industry leaders, and distinguished guests to recognize the new cover personalities and additional featured contributors, including James Hicks, Fitzroy Constantine, and others.
Guests arrived in custom costumes and avant-garde fashion, celebrating the individuality, creativity, and lasting influence of the people who have shaped the fashion industry. The evening reflected fashion as an expression of personal identity and creative legacy, with attendees showcasing distinctive looks that honored the artistry and influence of fashion across generations.
The celebration also marked the official announcement of the multi-year strategic partnership between GZTV Inc. and ATL+ Magazine, valued at more than $1 million. Under the agreement, GZTV serves as ATL+ Magazine’s global media network partner, while ATL+ Magazine serves as GZTV’s official public relations partner. The collaboration will expand original productions, editorial coverage, and international storytelling across fashion, entertainment, beauty, business, and culture.
Executives from both organizations were in attendance to celebrate the cover reveal, the accomplishments of the featured personalities, and the beginning of this expanded partnership. The collaboration’s first major original production is Evolution in Fashion, a GZTV Original series featuring Alex Lucas, Octavius Terry, and Dr. Courtney Hammonds.
