The Attico Makes Their First-Ever Fashion Show During Milan Fashion Week: “The Morning After.”

WORLD - Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini took their women’s Italian label, The Attico, from a simple Instagram post to launching their first fashion show: “The Morning After.”
After the pair moved to New York City, they developed their brand by combining their two aesthetics: Ambrosio’s bold, tomboyish style and Tordini's classic, reserved style. All it took was one Instagram post with just their logo to receive emails from retailers eager to see their first collection.
The duo’s newest collection, “The Morning After,” presented at Milan Fashion Week, was inspired by Gabriel García Márquez’s thought on how we live our three lives, mainly the secret one. We show the type of person we are through our clothing, so what about the clothes we wear when no one is watching?
Ambrosio and Giorgia have always revolved their brand around high fashion with the street type of lifestyles, and in their latest release, they brought the night out to play. The collection showcases refined outfits, laid-back and relaxed ones, and even sensual ones. Down the runway, women can be seen in bulky suits, then in the next, tattered lingerie.
We can put on an outfit just to run an errand, be lounging in our pajamas all day, or dress up for no reason at all. The Attico doesn’t shy away from these small yet impactful choices; it embraces them.
