WHYME is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting, advocating for, and empowering fashion models and creatives across the industry. While not a school, WHYME offers a rigorous, experience-based five-month certification program, built on two successful years teaching at Georgia State University, designed to equip aspiring models with accredited credentials, professional training, and essential industry tools.

Our curriculum is designed to equip aspiring models with the practical knowledge, professional standards, and real-world experience needed to thrive in today’s fashion industry. Delivered through a rigorous, experience-based five-month certification program, the coursework covers essential skills such as runway technique, posing, industry etiquette, financial literacy, contract awareness, and personal wellness. Guided by experienced professionals and supported by hands-on training, students gain the confidence and tools necessary to navigate the industry safely and successfully. While WHYME is not a school, our curriculum serves as a structured pathway that complements our larger mission of advocacy, protection, and opportunity.

The Fashion Futures Scholarship celebrates visionary students who blend business acumen and artistic expression to shape the future of creative industries. Inspired by the spirit of the Fashion Forward Award from the Freedom of Expression Fashion Experience, this $1,000 annual scholarship supports undergraduates pursuing careers that push boundaries and foster innovation.
