THE LEADERSHIP
Justyn Burgest-Graham is an award-winning international fashion model, entrepreneur, and pioneer based in Atlanta, Georgia, who has built one of the most purposeful careers at the intersection of fashion, media, and advocacy. Justyn has dedicated his professional life to not only excelling in the industry but fundamentally reshaping it. Justyn Burgest-Graham career has taken him across four global fashion capitals: walking the runways of London, Berlin, New York, and Atlanta Fashion Weeks and in front of the cameras of some of the most iconic brands in the world, including Nike, Adidas, Jordan, New Balance, Microsoft, and Macy’s. Signed to MMG Model Management Group, with representation in New York City, Justyn has graced the front covers of Style Cruze and Selin Magazine, with features in Georgia Entertainment News, The Atlanta Voice, ATL+ Magazine, and archived on Getty Images. His on-screen credits include Praise This, Sweet Magnolias, and The Caregiver by Darryl Vega, and his influence as a brand ambassador and content creator extends to partnerships with Ralph Lauren, Adobe, Target, Hollyland Tech, and Huel.
Beyond his personal career, Justyn has spoken to over 2,000 students across high schools and middle schools, personally trained more than 200 aspiring models, and produced sold-out fashion shows in collaboration with Georgia State University, developing talent that has gone on to sign with major agencies across the country. Justyn brings a career built in the real world directly into the program, offering students not just instruction, but access to the lived experience, industry connections, and proven expertise of someone who has done it at the highest level. His mentorship career has produced measurable, undeniable results: to date, he has positively impacted over thousands of students, placed hundreds of graduates as working fashion models in the industry, maintained a 98% career growth rate among his students, and built a program whose reach spans more than five international countries. These numbers are not the product of a school, they are the product of a man who lived the industry, identified its deepest failures, and decided to be the solution. WHYME was born from Justyn’s firsthand experience navigating a fashion world that too often leaves its talent without mental health support, fair financial structures, or legal protection, and his mission has always been simple: to ensure that every model who comes through his program feels safe, equipped, and empowered to build a career that truly sustains their life. As Dean of Fashion at WHYME Institute, he brings that mission into every classroom, every mentorship session, and every student he accepts into their program.
This is a preview of his impact in the industry, but it is not all. Justyn continues to be a innovator and pioneer in the fashion industry that is reshaping the fashion landscape in Atlanta, Georgia to see being a fashion model as a real career.
