GZTV, WHYME Institute of Fashion, and The Grocery Spot Announce Annual Giveback Initiative to Serve Atlanta Communities

ATLANTA, Ga. — July 18, 2026 — GZTV and WHYME Institute of Fashion, in collaboration with key community partner The Grocery Spot, are proud to announce the launch of their Annual Giveback Initiative, a community outreach program dedicated to serving children, families, and neighborhoods across the City of Atlanta through charitable service, education, and community engagement. Together, the organizations are committed to creating meaningful opportunities that provide essential resources, inspire hope, and strengthen communities through year-round acts of service.

The Annual Giveback Initiative was established to unite businesses, nonprofit organizations, community leaders, sponsors, and volunteers around a shared mission of giving back. Throughout the year, the initiative will organize outreach efforts focused on food assistance, school readiness, educational programming, volunteerism, clothing donations, and other charitable projects designed to create lasting impact across Atlanta.

The initiative’s first major community event of the year, the Back-to-School Giveback, will take place on Thursday, August 6, 2026, providing approximately 100–150 backpacks, school supplies, clothing, and other essential resources to students and families. The event will also support community food distribution efforts through The Grocery Spot, which helps provide more than 130,000 pounds of food each week, further expanding the initiative’s reach and impact.

“The Giveback Initiative represents our commitment to serving communities year after year through collaboration, creativity, and compassion,” said Justyn Burgest-Graham, Founder of GZTV and WHYME Institute of Fashion. “Whether we’re providing meals, educational opportunities, school supplies, or creating memorable experiences for families, our goal is to make a lasting impact and remind people that they are supported, valued, and capable of achieving their dreams.”

Since its inception, GZTV and WHYME Institute of Fashion have demonstrated a commitment to community impact through a variety of service initiatives. Together, they have prepared and served more than 100 meals for individuals experiencing homelessness, helped provide over 57 meals through donations to the Atlanta Community Food Bank, supported students through school resource initiatives, influenced thousands of students through educational programming, and provided more than 100 complimentary family portraits through GZTV’s Picture That initiative.

Community members and organizations are invited to support the initiative through sponsorships, monetary contributions, kindness donations, and volunteer service. Buckhead Law proudly joins this year’s Back-to-School Giveback as a Supporting Sponsor, helping advance the initiative’s mission of investing in children, supporting families, and strengthening communities throughout Atlanta.

The Annual Giveback Initiative reflects the belief that lasting change begins when communities come together with a shared purpose. Through the leadership of GZTV and WHYME Institute of Fashion and the collaboration of dedicated partners such as The Grocery Spot, sponsors, and volunteers, the initiative will continue creating opportunities that empower families and positively impact lives for years to come.
